Valley Med is searching for an energetic and flexible full-time clinical medical assistant to join our team at a well-established, private Primary Care Clinic in Eugene, Oregon. Responsibilities include, but not limited to rooming patients, vitals, injections, EKG’s, minor procedures, phone triage, assisting providers, and any other duties assigned. Preferred experience with eClinicalWorks electronic health record, but not required.

Must have proven oral and written communication skills; as well as excellent customer service skills, ability to effectively work as a team member, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, well organized and excellent attention to detail, high data accuracy rate, and ability to prioritize. Must be extremely flexible, good at actively listening, reliable, treat co-workers and patients with respect at all times, strong work ethic, and positive communication and interpersonal skills required.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred, but not required
  • Experience with EMR systems, preferred eClinicalWorks
  • Excellent clinical assessment and analytical skills
  • Fluent in medical terminology
  • Full Time Position
  • Ability to reliably commute to on-site clinic

Responsibilities include, but not limited to greeting and assisting patients, answering phone calls, documenting phone calls, collecting and updating information, collecting patient payments, and many other healthcare operations. Preferred experience with eClinicalWorks electronic health record, but not required.
